01 / FROM SPREADSHEET TO DECISION

A map can look tidy.
Its routes can still be wrong.

MapLatch checks the relationships between your rows, then makes the unresolved work visible.

01

Bring the evidence

Upload an existing redirect map. Add an old URL inventory and a target crawl to check coverage and supplied HTTP statuses.

02

Review the exceptions

Find loops, conflicting sources, chains and missing decisions. See the record, evidence and suggested next action.

03

Make the handoff clear

Export the findings and a print-ready report. Keep content and retirement decisions explicit before implementation.

02 / A SECOND PASS BEFORE LAUNCH

Want the review
taken off your list?

Our planned fixed-scope service turns your existing map into a prioritized review pack, with one recheck after corrections.

THE IMPORTANT DETAILS

Useful checks. Clear limits.

Does this check my live website?

No. The free tool analyzes the files you provide. It does not make requests to your URLs. Target status checks use only your uploaded crawl export. You still need staging and post-launch HTTP tests.

Can I use a Screaming Frog export?

Yes: use Address and Status Code in the target crawl, with optional Indexability and Canonical Link Element 1. Your redirect map needs source and target columns; you can choose their names in the tool.

Will it change or deploy my redirect rules?

No. It exports findings, not server configuration. Regex and wildcard rules are outside the supported scope. Case, query strings and trailing slashes remain distinct.

What makes the service different from a free checker?

The paid review is designed to take QA work off your team: a scoped analysis, evidence-linked issue register, exception decisions and a recheck. It uses automation and AI assistance; it is not a full technical SEO audit or a guarantee of rankings.
